A good Monday

 
Hello Monday! Wow, the lack of interesting events in my life really reflects on the blog. There's not much to tell these days. Although the weekends are not very eventful right now, I usually quite enjoy them, but this one was not the best one. We got the news about a corona outbreak in the gym so they had to close down and now everyone has to get tested. I've got a time for tomorrow so that's good at least. It just sucks cause the gym has been the highlight of my days the past week. ANYWAYS. Not gonna spread more negativity than that. I actually had a very good Monday and I feel positive about this week. On the "lunch break" I went for a run in the extremely humid fog. I gotta say, right now is not the best time to run, it's so icy and wet outside haha. The beauty of running every month of the year. Apart from that I've had a very productive work day and even got to do some thesis stuff so that was good. This is my last week of the internship and then I'll focus all my time on the thesis, no more excuses and distractions. Actually quite excited about it, I feel like I'm in a good flow. Baby steps, but getting there! 
 
Last week I also worked for the newspaper which is always nice. It is also where I'll spend my summer. After last year's fun work there I'm excited to be back physically haha (and not working remotely like now). It's a job that suits me so well. What else... well on Sunday I turn 25 which is WEIRD and definitely a number that is too adult-y for me. I still feel like a teenager in high school. Looking forward to celebrating with the girls though, can't wait to be gathered again. 
 
Speaking of how good today was, I got this AMAZING vest on the post from my grandmother. How good is she? I love it and I think I will wear it every day from now on haha!
 
This week will be quite busy at the internship, I'm also trying to finish another chapter for the thesis so I can send it to my supervisor for his comments. Since the start of February I'm starting every weekday morning with yoga and it has definitely become a good routine that sets the tone for the rest of the day. So, yoga, work, thesis, and a few runs. I'm hoping the ice will melt quickly so I don't break both my legs lol. Wishing you all a lovely week, let's talk again SOON <3
